I started my journey in endurance sports with mountain biking at age 14, went on to become a triathlete, and eventually a competitive runner for over a decade — until an accident ended my running career in 2023. NSCA-Certified S&C Coach

Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists® (CSCS®) are professionals who apply scientific knowledge to train athletes for the primary goal of improving athletic performance. They conduct sport-specific testing sessions, design and implement safe and effective strength training and conditioning programs and provide guidance regarding nutrition and injury prevention. Recognizing that their area of expertise is separate and distinct, CSCSs consult with and refer athletes to other professionals when appropriate.

All coaching and communication is exclusively done by myself, Sandro Sket. You won’t have to talk to an assistant – ever! It’s my philosophy that knowledge work and expertise can’t be outsourced without compromising the quality of coaching. Hence, I can’t compete on price with some of my competitors. But I can assure you that you get the attention to detail you deserve to become the best athlete possible. 

You can stay with me for a month or a decade. You don’t have to commit to anything in advance and can cancel coaching at any time – no binding contracts here. But of course it’s feasible to stay with me for a few months at least to see real results.

I will add you as an athlete to my coaching account on FinalSurge. Once I’ve set up your power zones, I will outline your progress goals. Then we will work hand in hand towards that goal.
 
That means I design your training plan on a weekly basis based on your online training analytics, my interpretation of it, and your feedback. All workouts come with instructions and can be uploaded to your smartwatch so you can follow the prompts in real-time. 
 
I initiate contact monthly or weekly with you, depending on whether you are on a Standard or Premium subscription.

In coaching we take the short-term, medium-term, and long-term view. You will quickly feel better and stronger on your Peolon bike, climb the leaderboard over the mid-term, and over the seasons you will get to a higher level Peloton rider. In exercise lingo coaches refer to it as microcycles, mesocycles, and macrocycles.

You can expect a faster improvement than with random workouts because the of the training principles of progressive overload and periodization. Therefore the real benefit of coaching lies in balanced training weeks and continuous progression.
